Overview

Fourth London is a world leading software solution provider in the field of hospitality management.

When we started the cooperation in 2018, Fourth thought they had a complexity of 70 improvements which needed to be addressed in the organisation in relation to management, culture, processes, data usage and cooperation.

However, after taking a structured look, we found that only 2 two changes needed to be designed and internalized to address most improvements.

The challenge

To reduce the distance between the management and the 22 scrum teams and create stronger alignment between the strategic and operational levels in the organisation.

The solution

Training everyone in efficient and fact-based communication relevant to both management and team leads.

Establishing a shared process and format for focal tactical communication allowing everyone to align on expectations and priorities.

The result

By establishing a tactical process between the strategic and operational levels in the organization, the communication, cooperation and trust between the management and the teams increased.

The setup was used to implement even more complex changes throughout the organisation.
